my sister who has been searching for her dad has said something similar to your posting... her fathers name is miguel gonzalez and he was from Jerez, and apparently her grandfather was some sort of political figure...my sister was born in Los Angeles in 1957. there is a relative named manuel who still resides in Jerez....but he wont give up any info...thats the only info she has... i wonder if u are related .. she also mentioned the name montoya..does that ring a bell?
