The history you were told sounds correct about the quintanar family. The Hacienda was called "La Boquillado los Quintanar " now called "La Boquilla del Refugio" this is located 4 kilometers from Lobatos, 20 minutes from Valparaiso.
There was the talk when the revolution hit Zacatecas the quintanar left to California and returned when it was over. I am a far decendant from the familiy and we still own much of the land out there.
