Brandy, I definitely know that there were Olmos in Teocaltiche and Aguascalientes but I have noticed that the state of Guanajuato probably has more Olmos than either of these two states. Until I complete my research I won't know where our line originated. I am in search of my GGGrandparents Juan Olmos & Eulogia Esparza. I have the marriage of my GG grandparents Prudencio Olmos and Juana de Dios Jauregui in January of 1857 but I haven't been able to find my GGGrandparents marriage or birth records yet. They were Juan Olmos and Eulogia Esparza. They would have been born back at least 20 years or more putting them around 1837 +/- 15 years and I haven't found their birth or marriage records in Nochistlan. I did find an Eulogia Esparza around that time frame from Aguascalientes but I haven't verified if she is the right Eulogia who was married to Juan Olmos. Who are your ancestros? Maybe we can try matching up some names and dates to see if we have a family connection. My Great g!
randparents Desiderio Olmos and Francisca Avelar were married in Nochistlan in Feb 1884. Desiderio Olmos was born around 1863 and my great grandmother Francisca was born around 1868. I hope to hear from you to see if we can connect in our family lines......Gracias.......Alicia
