Connie, this Desiderio Olmos is the son of Prudencio Olmos and Juana de Jauregui. There are several Desiderios of several generations within this family but this one happens to be my great grandfather. Usually in my findings the padrinos were always related. I haven't found the paper trail between this Desiderio and Mariano Olmos the spouse of Josefa Guerrero yet. I know that Mariano and Josefa were married in San Jose Calvillo, Aguascalientes but I don't think Mariano was from Aguascalientes, I think it was Josefa who was from Aguascalientes. Desiderio's grandfather was Juan Olmos and his wife was Eulogia Esparza. I'm almost certain that your grandfather Jose Carmen Olmos is related to my greatgrandfather if he's the padrino.
