Hello all,

I am new here. I am in need of guidance, I have no one in my tree that is from Mexico. I have never had to research in this area before. I have been working on my families genealogy for 7 years now and have a lot for them. My sister is getting married in November and it is her husband to be that has family from this area. She has decided that she wants to have a family tree at the reception. So, guess who gets to provide it?!?! I love learning my family history so this is something I would really like to do for her and my brother in law to be. I think I have taken on more than I have time for. I have been working on it since she gave it to me a month ago. (she doesn't understand to do this well, takes time.) I was able to get back 6 generations on his mother's two main lines. It is his fathers side. The surnames are

ESTRADA-from Zacatecas, Mexico
DURAZO-from Sonora, Mexico
MIRANDA-from Chihuahua, Mexico
CABALLERO-from Chihuahua, Mexico

I was able to get some good information on his MIRANDA line and that is it. I was able to go back 2 generations from his father. I am hoping to make a well round tree of a good looking size. (hoping for 6 generations from a child my sister and her husband to be would have)

ANY help and guidance would be greatly appreciated. I just don't have the links for this area and am having a lot of trouble trying to find some. I can only seem to find the links in spanish and I don't speak any spanish at all so I am having to translate, well I think you get the idea. I am lost and could use some expert guidance from all of you.
