I am searching for Castanedas that lived in Socorro, Tx. My ggg grandfather Nicolas, b:abt. 1824 is from Mexico, he married Candelaria Jurado. They had Felipe in Mexico. Felipe married Hermenegilda Ledesma b:1860 and they had my
g grandfather Nicolas b: 1887 d:1962 and 2 other sons Carrilo and David that passed away as infants. My g grandfather was born in Texas. Nicolas married Imelda Padilla b:1894 d: 1969 and they had my grandmother. I know that Nicolas had another family also.
His other children are: Nicolas and Andreas (twins), Andrea and Concha.
Imelda Padilla is the daughter of Juan Padilla b:1869 d:1949 and Anunciacion Carrasco b: 1876 d:1951. They are also from Socorro, Tx.
I also know that the Castanedas have Prito Indian in them.
Anyone that knows anything about my family please HELP!!!!
