I have come to a dead end in trying to find my maternal line in Zacatecas so am now turning to dna testing to at least know if my female ancestors were Indio or Espanol. The site is worth sharing with you. http://members.tripod.com/~GaryFelix/index63.htm

This site also gives you names for the original expeditions into Mexico. It truly is worth checking out.
