My great great grandfather, Leandro Esparza was mayor domo of Hacienda El Carro. His son Francisco was mayor of Villa Gonzalez Ortega, the town that was founded on the Hacienda. Francisco had eleven children. I have been in touch with the descendants of three of them in Mexico. His son Hugo and my grandfather, Gustavo immigrated to the US. We have not been able to track the descendants of Hugo. I am interested in learning anything that I can about EL Carro and Leandro Esparza and his wife Benita (don't know her maiden name) and members of this family.
