Monte Escobedo was part of the Hacienda de San Andres Astillero, thar was organizesd by my ancestors Hernando de Escobedo his wife Mari Diaz and there son Francisco de Escobedo, they aslo founded Jerez, San Luis de Pototsi in the first half of the XVI cetuary. If you have Escobedo lines you are most probably decendant of them, My tree is well documented and I can probably help you
