Wow, this is gold.

I don't have a lot of information, the only thing that I can remember is that my father family comes from a small town/ranch outside of Jerez, Zac. called Lo de luna, Zac.

I heard that one of my ancestors was also a Captain from Spain.... do you think that might be the same person that you talk about?

We actually have a legal document that proves that, (I don't have it but a cousin does). I will ask her about it and see what was his name, etc. and see if I can get a copy.

Now, you also mention that there were a number of De la Cadena brothers (uncles) that bought a number of ranches outside Jerez, .... maybe one them bought the Lo de luna ranch.

Thank you very much for the info, tell me where do you live? According to your emal's website, your company is located in Santa Barbara, CA. which is not so far from where I live. I live in south Orange County (Aliso Viejo, CA)

I'll continue with my research and will provide more info once I get it.
