Jose Francisco Maria Esparza b abt 1775 in Juan Aldama, parents Jose Esparza and Jacinto Briseno. They moved to Saltillo, Coahuila when he was a young child, and in 1797 he moved to San Antonio, Texas. Jose is the grandfather of the Esparza brothers on both sides of the Alamo battle, Gregorio and Francisco.

What records are available in Juan Aldama for that period? Thank you.
