My grandfather, Francisco Gonzalez, said he was from Jerez, Zacatecas and was born abt. 1875. However, I have searched civil registry and parish records for Jerez & haven't found anything. Do you have any other info on your
g-grandather? My grandfather left (don't know when) and was in the Oklahoma mines by 1899. His first marriage was to someone I believed was named Rita (Margarita) Moreno (per TX census records), however, I'm not certain of her name. This is probably not the same person, but perhaps there could be some distant relation.
