Well, here is all that I know:
My Grandfather, by the name of Teodoro Alcala Esparza migrated from Zacatecas around the early 19th century. He came alone and settled in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He married Geronima Madrid Ruiz and they produced an only son, my father, Augustine Ruiz Esparza.
I do not know if Teodoro had brothers and sisters that he left behind in Zacatecas (it is likely), who may also have migrated to the area you are from. Teodoro's mother was a school teacher by the name of Katarina Alcala. I believe his father's name was also Teodoro. Other possible family names: Peraz, Quiroz.
