Try the LDS church. You may get lucky like I did, and find a mother lode of data. Warning --- when a force invaded a Mexican community, they tended to destroy records. However, someone has photographed tons of Catholic church records (your primary source of Mexican vital statistics) and the LDS church indexed the data and put the records on microfilm.
