Hi Linda, how have you been? fine I hope. We are probably related through the Cuevas, Tovars, or Luera families from Jerez and Zacatecas.

Gabe Gutierrez tells me that you have deep roots that go back to the beginning of Jerez, itself. Thanks to Gabe, he passed information to me that help me establish my family ties back to 1643 (Duarte, Rincon, Andrada families).

My family (Duarte and Garcia de la Cadena) settled in Lo de Luna, Las Lajas, and El Moral, which are ranch communitees just outside of Jerez going to Cuidad Zacatecas.

One new important fact that I recently learned, is that Cuidad Zacatecas was probably the main hub or start for many of the Jerez families. Many of the early families had strong blood connections in Zacatecas.
