your message caught my eye since we have so many of the same family names, My family was Castanon but we had Caldera, de la Cueva, (Cuevas), Luera, Tovar/Tobar, Mejia, Alcala, Bermudes and Carrillo on the grandmothers lines. This would have been from mid 1750 to 1870's. They lived in the same towns you mentioned but were mostly in El Durazno, Rodartes Ximulco and Labor de Abajo and Arriba.
