Thank you for sending a reply to my message. I was searching for other people with the same last name and came across someone else looking for Mergil's but also a woman named Dionisia Mergil. I have no knowledge of anyone with the name Dionisia Mergil althought I was born and raise in Los Angeles California. I grew up in East Los Angeles and graduated from Garfield High School. I find it very interesting that you live in Montebello, California. I have all my immediate family still living in California. Although Im the only male in my family with the last name Mergil. I left Los Angeles when I was 18 years old when I joined the Air Force. Im now 51. I made the Air Force a career and retired from the Air Force and now work Civil Service for the Air Force. I live in Panama City Florida at present time but have traveled all over the world with the Air Force.

Recently I have become more and more interested in where my family came from and who are some of my other relatives. I was hoping to find others that would be able to give me some more information about the family history.

I would like to create a family tree and also give my children and grandchildren some histoy about our family.

I have relatives that live in the Los Angeles area: My father died in 1969 Raymond Mergil married to Elvira Serna. His brothers were Anthony Mergil, Narciso Mergil his sisters names are Teresa and Vita. I have cousins that live in the Los Angeles area to. I have a older brother Albert Serna, Older sister Rosie Miranda, and a younger sister Margie Benitez.
