Hi, My fathers remembers a family member by the name of
Petrolina. And, yes, the names could have easily been misspelled. My uncle Jose used Yniguez instead of Iniguez. Although he was my dad's brother they had different spelling last names. I asked my father about it and he said it was most likely that they didnt have enough education and someone helped them fill out paper work and they just guessed at the spelling. Anyway I am going to try to find out more about my family, maybe we can end up with a matching name somewhere down the line.
