Not too much information on my, actually my husband's Escandon branch, either.
His grandfather was Nicolas b 15 Dec 1872 in Jerez de Garcia Salinas. Nicolas was married to Damiana Mejia Ramirez. His father was Felipe. My husband thinks that Felipe spent some time in Sonora working in mining. Nicolas died in 1943 in LaVerne CA.
