THe only general I know of is Vito Alessio Robles. He was from Saltillo, Coahuila. He was an enginner but I believe he did fight to oust Diaz from office. With the accession
of Madero becoming presidency he became part of Madero's cabinet even though he had supported Carranza. When Madero was murdered by Huerta, Alessio Robles was put in prison
for a year. When he got out he sought out Pancho Villa in
the north and joined up with him for a while.Then Carranza and Villa split and I think Robles changed his allegiance somewhere down the line. His brother Miguel was a lawyer and was secretary to Carranza. Both eventually became ambassadors to foreign countries and Vito served in the legislature representing Coahuila. These brothers were my grandfather's first cousins.
