I would like to know if you have found a history behind the Diaz de Leon last name . I married into the family and I am trying to help my husband with his family tree. We are having a difficult time tracking ancesters. There are currently a family of Diaz de leons in Galveston, Texas that is quite extended. I know that the Grandfather was from Mexico his name was Samuel Diaz de leon and his first wife was Sara Diaz de leon.
