I recently received a tip that my earliest ancestor Juan Antonio DeHerrera b. about 1745, is the son of Miguel DeHerrera and Maria Antonia Archuleta from Santa Cruz, New Mexico near Espanola. He married twice: 1st (1783), was Juana Atencio and 2nd wife was Maria Montes Vigil. This information was taken from Volume 9 of the books by LaDeane Miller called "The Select Families of New Mexico". I am unfamiliar with these books and would like to know or hear from the author with regards to the References for his work. Can anyone out there confirm this or know where I could contact Mr. LaDeane? Sincerely, Rose
