Richard..the Castanons in my family tree came from the Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico area. Librado Castanon married Maragarita Lopez Cristerna..they had a large family in Los Angeles and were into businesses. They were located in the old Brooklyn Blvd,now known as Cesar Chavez Blvd. There is a Richard Castanon in this family, too. I believe his father was Joseph Castanon, and he had a home in West Covina. Cecelia Castanon Ramneriz now lives in the Modesto, Ca. area. Saludos, Raul Luna
