Hi Mark,
I may be able to help you out here. First of all, who are your parents? My grandparents lived in South Colton. My grandfather was Benjamin Carlos. Next door to him live Antonio Carlos! His wife was Pancha.They had three children.Tony, Arthur ("Sippy"), and a sister Adeline. Is this the same family? If it is, I remember your grandfather fondly. I remember him very well! I remember him in a wheelchair. If I am not mistaken, he fell off the roof and broke his back. I was only 10 when he died, but I can close my eyes and still see him. I know the Carlos which you speak of from Riverside and Ma.del Refugio Femat, was my great grandmother! She was Mama Cuca! Are we on the same wave length? We are all related. Contact me at the AOL address and we can exchange notes and see it indeed we are speaking of the same person. I'm pretty sure the we are. "Femat" is a family name and it is not a common. I will call my Mom in the morning and check on the data you've given me. I will als be ab!
