Surname: Luevano, Quintero

I am searching for my father's birth certificate. He was born on Sept 2,
1898. His name was Rafael Luevano. I think his mother's maiden name was
Maria Quintero. I know that he was born in the state of Zacatecas and in
either the city of Malpaso or city of zacatecas. I am told that possibly
in those days the filing of births and baptismals might have been kept
by the local Catholic church.
Any information will be appreciated. Thank you !
