Hello, my motheres maiden name is Menchaca. Her grandfather was Jesus Avina
Menchaca born 1903 in Calera (or Jerez), Zacatecas. He had many sisters.
I will try to name what I remember: Maria, Urvana, Mauricia, Paula, Juana,
etc. etc. Their dad was Juan Menchaca and their mother was Simona Avina
(born 1869) to Apolonio Avina and Valentina Munoz. Does any of this sound
familiar?
