Surname: olague, tinajera

Hello, John Garay,
I noticed in your March message that you included the surname Olague, but
you only asked for the origin of the name Garay. It is of Basque origin
according to a book I have called "apellidos vascos" (Basque Surnames).
My father's name was Guadalupe Olague. He was from Jerez in Zacatecas.
My father had told me Olague was a Basque name and it is also mentioned
in the book. There is also a town in Navarra with that name. There are
many Basques in Zacatecas I think because it was settled by the father
of Don Juan de Onate, who was Basque. How are you related to the Olagues?
Do you know of any Olague relatives in Jerez or Zacatecas? I have not been
able to find any Olagues in the Internet that are from Jerez or Zacatecas.
In the list of those who were in the Onate party in 1601 was a Francico
Olague. My grandfather's name was also Francisco Olague.
My name is Emilie Marquez Olague de Garcia
