Am researching the Indiginous Peoples of Villanueva Zac. Mx.
Have been to Villanueva Zacatecas and their Hall of Records tell me they
have no documentation due to a fire during the time of the Revoulution.
Have come across that response alot when asking questions about Indian
people. All my line from the Ramos, Delgado, Games, Basales ,Duron are
all Indiginous peoples. I have been told by the historians that the Ruins
nearby are from La Quemada or the Ruins of Chicomeztoc but can not specify
that to be the Indians of Villanueva due to all the Indian slaves that
were being brought in to work the Silver Mines. Have baptismals all stating
Yndios or Yndios Laborios. Which I believe to be Laboror. If any one has
any information please respond Thank you.
