I would recommend that you go to the local Family History Center (Mormon
Church) and have them run a library catalog for the town you think you
Magallanes was from. I found many Magallanes in Momax, Zacatecas and Tlaltenango
de Sanchez Roman, Zacatecas. The films that I ordered have chuch registers
of baptisms, confirmations, mariages and deaths, text is in Spanish. I
was quite surprised that this information was available for these two rather
small towns.
