I am searching for any information on the surname LIENDO, sometimes written
as LEANDRO. My ancestor, Juan Antonio Liendo married in Saltillo in 1750,
however; before that it is rumored he was from Zacatecas. I would appreciate
it if anyone with ties to the surname Liendo (Leandro) would reply. The
Liendo (Leandro) surname is very common in South America and has also been
found in Spain, Mexico and the U.S. but in smaller numbers.
