My grandfathers name is Jose Tovar (Tobar) and he was married to Rosa (Sanchez) Tovar. My fathers name was Louis Sanchez Tovar, thats why I think my grandmothers maiden name was Sanchez. Doesn't the son take the mothers maiden name? I don't know anything about my grandfather except what my father has told me, and thats very little. My father was not very free w/ information about his parents. He was an only child. They came to Chicago when my father was a young boy. When my Grandmother died (she was in her 40's), my Grandfather moved to San Jose CA (where he later died around 1965). My father stayed on in Chicago, where I was born. My father is also deceased. Thats about it!
