My father is 86 years old and recently told me his father, Refugio del Macedonio Allala (Ayala) had siblings in Michoacan. Possibly in Tangancicuaro, Camecuaro, San Antonio Ocampo or Tzazalca areas. Names of siblings he can recall are possibly Pasqual, Ramon, Vehermiente.
My dad tells me this story: Refugio and his family would walk or go by horse or mule to church on Sunday. It would take all day to walk there, have a noon meal, and return. At the time in 1900 – 1910, there was no church in San Antonio Ocampo. It was located in Tzazalca or Tangancicuaro.
Anyone have information to share on these names?
