My grandparents immigrated from the Tyrol (Austria/Italy) at the turn of the century. I have some of their mexican immigration documents but not much else. I'm going to El Oro in July to see the town for myself.
The El Oro I'm going to is in the state of Mexico...could you be mistaken? It is really close to the border with Michoacan.
