In searching for my husband's Valencia side of the family, I ran across your message with the name Reynaga. My brother-in-law is a Reynaga born in Jalisco, Mexico. They are a large family.

I am passing on your email message to him. Perhaps he can help.

Getting back to my husband's family. His mother was Maldonado-Valencia. They are related to the Mexican bishop (Guizar-Valencia) who is pending cannonization (sainthood) in the Vatican. My mother in- law was born in Michocan, Mexico. However, it is believed her father, who died in 1918 when she was 1 yr old, was from Spain.
