My mom tells me that ex-President Lazaro Cardenas was my grandfather's uncle, too! We're probably related! My grandfather past away when my mom was young, but his name was Leodegario(?) Cardenas. He married my grandmother Luisa Martinez. They had 10 kids together--my mom's I believe, 4th to the youngest. I believe my grandpa lived in Mexico City, but he and my grandma moved to Mexicali. Some of the relatives live in California.
