I am looking for information regarding Pres. Lazaro Cardinas & his family. My Husband's Grandfather, Jesus Cardenas Lopez Nunez, was one of Lazaro's Godsons and Nephew. I think that I recall Jesus referring to his cousin, Lazaro's son, as Heton. Does anyone know if Heton is a nickname for Cuauhtemoc? My Jesus Cardenas Lopez Nunez was born in Mexico in 1905. I'm not sure of the location, but I recall him talking about Zamora. He married Elena Esquivel Diaz b.1907-d.1969, of Tarascan descent, from Patamban, Michoacan. Jesus died in CA, in 1992. I don't know Jesus's parent's names yet. I believe that his mother came to Mexico from Spain. Any info. and/or tips for further research are welcomed, needed, and greatly appreciated.
