hi,
I am from a town near zamora michoacan:aquiles serdan also called san angel, but my tip for you was that if you know your husbands family was tarascan then you could look up tarascan villages in michoacan or have you ever been there? well probably not but I know of many little towns near zamora where mostly tarascan people live. my mom's friend adolfo something is tarascan I believe and he lives in the town of Tarecuato( about an hour from zamora and oh did you mention patamban? I always wanted to go there its very near my village(aquiles serdan is 15 minutes from Tarecuato and patamban is a couple hours from tarecuato i think, its on an off route and the reason we havent gone is because weve been told the road isnt too safe) but anyway maybe my moms friend adolfo could help in some way or us , i hope this was helpful, email me if you have any more questions.
