I have heard a lot of El Rancho San Jose de Vargas in Michoacan. It is near Zamora. My mother's family is from there and we are going there soon. I have never been there before but it is very much a part of our family. I will ask my mom about your family and will get back to you about it. I was looking for a map or this area so that we won't get taken to the wrong place, and did a search and I saw your message. You can write to me directly.
