I too am looking for missing links in the Chavez family tree. My great
grandparents were from Michoacan, Mexico. My great grandfather was Hipolito
Chavez, born 8/15/59 or 8/15/54, married 2/14/1885, died in Port Hueneme,
CA 5/4/42. He married Maria Eulalia Gonsales. She was born in Ciudad Hildalgo,
Michoacan 2/12/70 and died in Port Hueneme, CA 6/8/53. They had 7 children,
all born in Mexico: Aniceto, Francisco, Loretta, Daniel, Leandra, Maximiano
and an unknown child. The family moved to Port Hueneme in 1905. Hope there
might be a connection with this information.
