Joseph, did you receive any responses in your quest for help? I would suggest
that you start with your imediate family including your uncle in Mexico.
Then go to one of the LDS Family History Centers near you and they will
show you how and where to get started. They have a lot of information and
are very willing to help. I hope this will get you started, genealogy research
can be very rewarding as well as very frustrating.
