Thank you for your reply. This note is for other Mason researchers and their allied families. It appears that John Elton Mason's father came from the Newark, MD area--John Mason born Oct 1864 married Annie Julia Ross born June 1872 (married 1891). The more answers we get the more questions arise. If Lillian Johnson's father was Marion Johnson were her grandparents John S. Johnson and Sarah Conaway from the Girdletree, MD area?
