I too am searching McMurray. My husbands ggrandfather James McMurray came
from Scotland and in his obituary entered the USA at Dunkirk, NY in 1851. I
have been curious as to why they entered the USA there, did they come to
Canada and then to the USA? They finally settled in Foster Brook, McKean
County, PA (Bradford, Pa). I too noted Ft. McMurray, Canada. Where is/was
it located? Any info as to where Ft. McMurray is located would be
appreciated.
