Are you looking for the same Alexander Mclain whose son Thomas Mclain wed Elizabeth Doty (Duff)?? If so, I may be able to help you. I am a descendant of Thomas Mclain (who also was a reverand). My Mclain family is mostly from Greene and Hawkins TN. If there is anything that you can help me with I would really appreciate it. And if you need any info, I will try to help you.
