JOSEPH McLAIN
Joseph A. McLain, 54,
of Tomah, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2007,
at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Madison,
after an extended illness.
He was born June 11, 1952,
in Cincinnati, Ohio,
son of Robert and June (Miller) McLain.
He served in the U.S. Army and later worked as a plant Superintendent for Chicago Coin.
He later worked for Supreme Catering.
He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie McLain
and Bianca Bumpus both of Madisonville, Kentucky;
three brothers, Talbert McLain of Lynxville,
Gary (Vicki) McLain of Cincinnati, Ohio
and Jack McLain of Ripley, Ohio;
three sisters, Karen (Donnie) Cook of Round Lake, Ill., Kim (Tony) Petri of Pt. Pleasant, Ohio
and Jewell Osborne of Ripley, Ohio;
six grandchildren, Shane, Lindsey,
Marcus Allen, Destiny, Parker
and Seth Allen
along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents
and a brother Bobby.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 16, at 11 a.m. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien,
Rev. Billy Reames officiating,
with burial in the Dickson Ridge Cemetery in Lynxville. Military Rites will be accorded by the Prairie du Chien Honor Guard. Friends may call on Monday, from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
