Dear List

Forgive me if you spotted this before me. I had a colleague who was a
lecturer at the Wellesley Sea Training School in S Shields, is this one and the
same place as the Wellesley Training Ship.? If so it might point to your
man being Merchant Service trained and therefore a member of the RN Auxiliary
Patrol and by definition serving on board a requisitioned fishing vessel
