I am looking for the parents of William Madden, born about 1807 in North Carolina or Tennessee. He married Jane Irene Yount about 1827 in Jackson Co., Tennessee. They had nine children: John Chesley, Sarah A., Mary Ann, James Whitley, Jacob F. or M., Daniel R., Nancy J., Jeremiah S., and William Eli. William Madden (the father) was listed in the Jackson Co., Tennessee 1830 census. By 1840, he had moved to Cedar Twp., Boone Co., Missouri, and he died there about 1864.
I would appreciate any clues to his ancestry!
