Hi,

My name is Melodie(Rensehausen)Clarke. My grandfather
always said that our name was originally spelled
Renziehausen.

My great, great grandfather's name was William
Rensehausen. He was married to Lousia Boleman. Their
children were Augusta, William, Jr., Fred, Henry,
Louisa, Esther, Hannah, John and Susan.

My great grandfather was William Rensehausen, Jr. He
married Harriet Tower. Their children were Lillian,
James William, Benjamin T., Harriet, Bessie, Mattie,
Mary, Richard Warren and Henry.

My grandfather was Richard Warren Rensehausen. He
married Rachel Sparks Edson. Their children were
Francis Rae, Minnie, Harriet Tower, Zelma Ward, and
Richard Edson Rensehausen.

My father was Richard Edson Rensehausen. He Married
Bertha Taylor. Their children were Melodie Anne,
Rachel Edson, Richard Edson and Warren Richard
Rensehausen.

My great, great grandfather was a stone mason. He
worked on the Boston/Albany Railroad laying culvert
work. He settled in Copake NY. The family spread
from there to Pittsfield, MA and Pittsburgh,PA.

I just recently after several of years of research
found out that both my grandfather and great
grandfather had eight brothers and sisters.

I am looking for information on the family and
locations that they settled. Any information and help
would be greatly appreciated.
