I've been busy and have not been keeping up. A friend and excellent genealogist who might prefer not to be named just now pointed out to me that you might want to review the implications of the dates you have given.
If we understand, you,"believe, without proof yet- that the William Fuller who married Elizabeth Jenkins at Barnstable on March 24, 1781 is the man I am looking for. I think that he is the father of the William Fuller of Barnstable born about 1785-1789 who then married Elizabeth Chase, daughter of Archelus Chase and Jedidah Wing."
So the child William was born as early as 1785, and perhaps some years later.
You have for his mother, "Elizabeth Jenkins. She was born 1740."
