I think that is the reason that Rootsweb, in its infinite wisdom, thought of
such a possibility, and gave the listowners the option of listing addresses on
an "accept" list to allow a non-subscription address to post to a closed list.
A member with multiple e-mail addresses would clearly fit that provision.
