Hello - it has been awhile since I have submitted my interests, and I have
since subscribed under this new email address. Here are my people:
My grandmother's father's mother, Sarah Livesey, was born in Preston,
Lancashire, at Maudland Bank in 1858. She married a man named Ball, with
whom she had two daughters, one of which, Matilda, married a man called Lacy
and lived in Hobart, Tasmania. After Mr. Ball died in India in 1888 or 1889,
Sarah met and married my gggrandfather, Frederick Wolf(e), in 1889 in Bombay
(he was in the army, as apparently was Mr. Ball). Sarah's parents were Henry
Livesey, an overlooker of cotton weavers, and Grace Thompson. I know nothing
else of Henry. I hope there is a connection out there somewhere. Thanks!
